PAULA LEE THOMASON On Friday January 7, 2011 Paula Lee Thomason passed away. She was surrounded by her daughters, who cared for her during her battle with Cancer. She was born on November 6, 1947 in Roswell, NM. Paula lived in Vancouver, Washington and thrived doing a job she loved. She was a flight attendant for Horizon Air for ten years and used her outgoing adventurous personality to make friends all over the US. She was known for her feisty cowgirl spirit and loved to show her humor with practical jokes. Paula is survived by her daughters, Kalle Fletcher and her husband Tony, with their two daughters, Emerson and Elliot (Vancouver, WA); Greta Varholdt and her fiancé Steve Mahalko (Los Angeles, CA); and Ingrid Varholdt (Austin, TX). One grandchild, Brentin Jack Winter, precedes her in death. Her remains will be buried with those of her ancestors in Heber, AZ. There will be no service, at her request. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
