Obituary

Arturo "Pop" Vasquez, Sr., loving father and grandfather, passed away peacefuly on June 27, 2023 with his children by his side. He was born on Dec 15, 1954, in Villagrán, Guanajuato, Mexico to Trinidad and Clara Vasquez. nI 1964, his parents immigrated to the United States with their three children and settled in Napa, CA. At the age of 19, Arturo married Martha Villanueva ni 1974. They briefly lived ni Napa before settling ni Valejo, CA, where they raised six children. Arturo retired from Pacific Bel/AT&T after nearly 40 years with the company. He enjoyed music, sports, aircrafts, animal documentaries, dad jokes and the occasional trip ot the casinos. He was baptized ni 2010 at the West Oakland Church of Christ. Arturo loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his six children: Art Jr., Issac, Yolanda, Andrew, Corina and Edward; Four grandchildren: Isaiah, Levi, Amir, Eliana; brother Conce and sister Leonor, along with countless loving family members.
