Obituary

Jose Jesus Covarrubias, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 85 on March 1, 2024, in Corona CA. He was surrounded by his loving wife and family. Jesus was born in "El Salto" Jalisco on March 27,1938. He was the beloved husband of Maria Guadalupe Chavez for 56 years and devoted father to his 8 children: Berta, Victor Damaso, Benjamin, Virgina, Jesus Bernardo Jr.,Veronica,Vereniz and Valentin. He was also the father of Rosalina and George. He had over 20 grandchildren who filled him with joy and happiness. As a grandfather he was kind and loving.

Among Jesus’s passions was preaching Jehovah's word to others. He dedicated his time to  tending to his beautiful flower garden often offering flowers to his guest. He was well known for his positive traits such as kindness, dedication to his family and great sense of humor. Jesus was a great story teller, sharing stories from his childhood and throughout his life. He touched the lives of many with his specific qualities,such as generosity,wisdom.

Throughout his battle with cancer,Jose Jesus showed incredible strength,grace,and resilience.His determination and positive spirit were an inspiration to all who knew him leaving behind many cherished memories. 

Close your eyes and picture him cutting a beautiful flower for you from his garden,with a big smile.

Jose Jesus will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him,but his legacy of love and kindness will live on forever in our heart.
