Obituary

  Natalie F. Lute, 73, of Chester Hill [near Philipsburg, PA] died Sunday March 16. 1997, at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, FL.                    

She was born Oct. 30, 1923, in East Bethel, Maine, a daughter of the late Daniel C. and Nanette Abbott Foster. On May 28, 1948, in Washington, D.C., she married George W. Lute, who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Foster and Nanette Foster Crockett; and one brother, David S. Foster.

   She was a graduate of Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine and was a homemaker.  

  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Philipsburg.  

   In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Melanie Axel-Lute of South Orange, NJ and Lora Storck of Philipsburg; a son, Daniel G. Lute of Harrisburg; a sister, Grace Smith of Locke Mills, Maine; a brother, Albert Foster of East Bethel, Maine; and six grandchildren, Miriam Axel-Lute, Gregory Axel-Lute, Christopher Lute, Valerie Lute, Seth Storck and Tara Storck.

  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today [March 19] at David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 M. Centre St., Philipsburg.

  The funeral will be at 11 am Thursday [March 20] at First Presbyterian Church in Philipsburg, with the Rev. William H. Moore officiating. Burial will be in Philipsburg Cemetery.
