Nicole Antonette Burnett passed away unexpectedly Jan. 18, 2024, at 15 years, 11 months. Our beloved Nicole was a wonderful daughter, sister, granddaughter, and niece who brightened the lives of those she knew. She was a beautiful and kind friend to many, especially to her close friends at the Vancouver School for Arts and Academics.
Nicole was born Feb. 20, 2008, in Vancouver, WA, and attended Fruit Valley Elementary School before being accepted into VSAA where she was a sophomore.
Nicole is survived by her mother, Rachel; father, Tywone; sister, Tae’Jianna; brother, Donte; half-sister, Isabella; half-brother, Gabriel; and grandparents, uncles and aunts.
Nicole was a talented artist who loved creating art work, and would often gift these works as presents to friends and family. She enjoyed studying piano and playing songs for her family. She loved listening to a wide variety of music, and had read and watched countless manga and anime. Most of all, she loved all animals, especially cats, and would often stop to pet any cat she saw anywhere.
The family held a private goodbye for Nicole. A public celebration of life will be held for Nicole’s family and friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations made in Nicole’s memory to the Humane Society for SW Washington https://www.southwesthumane.org/donate/honorary-gifts/
