Diane Esther Love Obituary

Diane E. (Harsar) Love, 78, of Wakeman, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024 at her home after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born on July 10, 1945 in Lorain, Ohio to Stephan and Viola (Spolnar) Harsar.

Diane enjoyed her grandchildren, watching their ball games, sitting at a slot machine, eating out with family and friends and small trips with her lady friends.

She is survived by her children; Charles F. (Dawn) Love Jr., Danielle L. (Denny) Smith, James S. Love, Christopher (Tonya) Love, Tass E. Love, 2 sisters; Kay Gillespie and Arlene Myers, 19 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Diane was preceded in death by her husband; Charles F. Love Sr., her parents; Stephan and Viola Harsar, sister; Patty and brothers Ron, Herb and Rudy Harsar.

Friends may call on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Toft Funeral Home, Wakeman Chapel, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. There will be an additional hour of visitation at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 46 Main Street (US 20), Wakeman, OH on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 10 am until the time of the Mass at 11 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Ron Brickner presiding. Burial will follow in Wakeman Cemetery.
