Obituary

With great sorrow, the family of Charles F. Robertson announces his passing on January 17, 2026 aged 79 years.

Born in Houtzdale to Charles E. and Ann V. (Palochko) Robertson, he attended Moshannon Valley High School where he was a stand-out athlete in football, basketball and baseball, and played in the marching band.  After graduating in 1964, he was drafted into the Army and served in Berlin, Germany.  Once his service was complete, he studied to be a tool and die maker, the trade he practiced his entire career.

He enjoyed football, classic cars, movies, TV, and the corniest jokes imaginable.  He will be missed.

He is survived by his children Greg (Jessica) Robertson, Jacob Robertson and Sarah (Nick McKay) Robertson, his sisters Eleanor Washic, Elaine Cook, Ann Niepmann, Virgina (Raymond) Miller and Rebecca Williams, his former wife Sharon (Dixon) Robertson, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
