Obituary

Joanne Vogel 88, of Bellefontaine, passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at Green Hills Retirement Community, West Liberty.

She was born in Bellefontaine on Feb. 3, 1926, a daughter of John and Jeannette Williams Baggs.

In 1946, she married George Vogel and he preceded her in death, along with a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Kip Fields; brothers, Don Baggs; sister, Betty McAtee; daughter-in-law, Millie Vogel; one granddaughter Joney Vogel and a great-grandson, Knoah Miller.

Survivors include her daughters, Judy (Gary) Boop and Tammy (Mike) Miller; sons, George Vogel Jr., Jeff (Karen) Vogel and Don (Kim) Vogel; sister, Christine Herring; grandchildren, Sean Wise, DH (Kathy) Vogel, Gary (Jesse) Boop II, Nettie Tackett, Chris (Kristina) Vogel, Danielle (Corey) Neal, Kelley (Brad) Burch, Scott (Meghan) Miller, Emily Miller, Courtney Miller, Chuck (Emily) Vogel, Ashley Vogel and Brittany Vogel; 20 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Viewing will be Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Jennings Farley Funeral Home from 4 - 8.  

Funeral Services will be Friday, January 16, 2015 at Mt.Tabor Church of God, DeGraff, Ohio at 11.00 a. m. Bro. Nathan Price, Pastor will be officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty, Ohio.
