CURRY, MARGUERITE DOLORES (WEMPE), 79, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Baptist Hospital East.
She was formerly associated with F.W. Woolworth, Mose Frank Inc. and Turner Struck. Marguerite had been a member of Louisville Civil War Round Table, Kentucky Historical Society Louisville Historical League, Louisville Genealogy Society, and Scottish Society and was a Kentucky Colonel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Madge Wempe; a son, Charles Clarence Curry; a grandson, Bradley Wayne Spalding; sisters, Wanda Ritter and Elizabeth Dupin.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Charles A. Curry; a daughter, Karen Spalding (Wayne); grandchildren, Matthew, Theresa, Kristina and Jennifer Gray (Tim); great-grandson, William Spencer; sisters-in-law, Doris DeBoad and Virginia Mattingly.

Her Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2011 at noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow at the Kentucky Heritage Pavilion of Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 p.m.
