BURKE Timothy A. Burke, age 50, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at his home in Elgin, IL, after a lengthy battle with ALS. Born October 22, 1960, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Edward and Esther Shriver Burke. Former resident of Columbus and Toledo. Graduate of Ohio State University, with a Masters in nursing. Vice president of regional operations for Alere Chicago, IL. Preceded in death by his father. He was the beloved partner for 26 years of Tim Walkup. Tim is also survived by "our children" Cocker-Spaniels Scarlet and Grayson; Seal-Point Siamese, Tao; his mother, Esther Cunliff; and brother, Tom Burke. Friends received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High St., where service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial Green Lawn Cemetery.
