Shirley Faye Bobbitt
MAY 25, 1940 – JUNE 3, 2021
Shirley Faye Robbins was born May 25, 1940 peacefully passed to be with our Lord and Savior on June 3, 2021.
She was the eldest child of San Joaquin Valley Cotton Contractor Hugh Lee Robbins and Evelyn Mae Robbins.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Terri Pierson; son-in-law Jim Pierson; daughter Sherri Frank; daughter Raeann Tyler; son-in-law Randy Tyler; daughter Katrina Kamholz; and sister Tanue Robbins.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband James Bruce Bobbitt; father Hugh Lee Robbins; mother Evelyn Mae Robbins; and bother Leeman Robbins.

Shirley was an attentive and loving grandmother to her 14 grandchildren and was called GG by her 23 delightful great-grandchildren and she adored her 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Shirley served as a Fresno County Foster Parent for 31 years and she cared for over 100 children. She was currently serving as the Valley Regional Vice President of the California State Foster Parent Association.

Over the last 25 years, she has been member of The Foster, Adoptive, Kinship, Parent Association of Fresno County Chapter #5 and has held many elected offices.

Shirley has also been an active member of her local church, Clovis Free Will Baptist, for 28 years.

A Funeral service for Shirley will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at Clovis Free Will Baptist Church, 135 North Peach, Clovis, CA.
