Obituary

Iheukwumere Chinasa Ugoji Eke was born August 8th, 1952, in Calabar, Nigeria to Chief Ugoji Eke and Ukefi Ugoji Eke. Iheukwumere Chinasa Ugoji Eke lived in Mankato, MN and Minneapolis, MN until his death. He graduated from Mankato State University in 1983 earning his Masters in Business Administration. 

Iheukwumere Chinasa Ugoji Eke worked at Ford Motor Company for 16 years. He retired from Ford Motor company in 2008 as a Materials Replenishment Coordinator. Chinasa treasured working and giving back to the community. He enjoyed reading the bible and having bible studies with family and friends. 

Iheukwumere Chinasa Ugoji Eke is preceded in death by his father, Chief Ugoji Eke;mother, Ukefi Ugoji Eke; brother, Egesitheo Ugoji Eke. Survived by his children, Obi Ugoji Eke, Brent Jamal Moore, Kelechi Chinyere Eke, and Nnenna April Eke. He is also survived by grandchildren Najee Tyrone Gill, Na'jaya Lashae Eke and Alayia Rae Eke as well as other loving relatives and friends. 

Chinasa exchanged his cross for a crown on June 19th, 2014 in Minneapolis, MN at the age of 61 years old. Chinasa was a devoted, hard-working and loving father who believed in Christ Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He will be remembered fondly by all who know and loved him. He touched many lives while he labored here on earth and now the Lord has called him home to an eternal peace and rest.
