Life Story

A Poem for Morgan

By Mom and Dad

She came into this world with a spark that never dimmed; spunky, bright, and full of energy, a girl who met life running and never once met a stranger.

The outdoors was her happy place, where sunshine touched her cheeks while she rode her pink moped anywhere she could and she could play the sports she Loved, a fearless goalie like her dad in soccer, softball dust on her shoes, and gymnastics flips that showed just how unstoppable she was.

She loved to dance and cheered loud for the Dallas Cowboys, sharing that proud bond with her dad, and she loved winter most of all, dreaming of deep Missouri snow, the kind you can sink into and laugh your way through.

In just nine years, she lived a lifetime of love, courage, and light.

And even in her leaving, she gave the greatest gift, her organs bringing life, hope, and second chances to others.

Our girl, our sunshine, our snow-dreamer; forever loved, forever nine, forever Morgan.
